11/25/08 - 12/2/08

From Job # 8.02 / CIS

United Rentals came by and picked up the whacker packer from Kerry.

Two framers showed up on site around 8:45. They were waiting on Oswaldo.

Todd's crew is here working on the wall in the back.

Oswaldo showed up around 9:30. They framed some of the south end of the building.

 11/26/08

Moix finished the steel on the slab. They had to cut and weld a few pieces.

Southland has been framing all day. They have framed up to the pool and elevator area.

Turner Construction poured the footings and set the anchor bolts for the porte corche

Joey was here supervising the framing from 8am to 3pm.

The Patels came be to look around the site.

Todd's crew had been working on the dry block wall in the back of the building.

12/1/08

Moix set the small steel columns for the porch at the front of the building. They had to move two columns and a beam that was inside the slab, four feet to the east.

Turner Construction cut holes in the concrete for the steel that had to be moved. They poured the washing machine pad in the laundry room. They poured around the steel columns that Moix set today and filled in the rest of the columns on the slab.

Southland has all the 2x6 walls framed on the first floor. They are rolling the trusses and placing the glue-lam beams. They finished almost half the trusses for the first floor.

We went and got another skytrack from Hugg and Hall for Moix to use while the framers were using the other lift to set trusses.

Advanced Sprinkler is working on the dry block wall on the east side of the building. Brad is bringing us a fuel tank to use on site.

 12/2/08

Moix is on site setting the steel for porte corche. This is the last of the steel.

Turner Construction is on site to wreck forms and pour around the last of the steel columns.

Southland is setting trusses and decking. We had to order 30 treated 2x6s, 30 1x4s, 2 boxes of steel anchor drive heads and 2 boxes of charges.

Moses Plumbing came on site around 9am to see how the trusses were working with the plumbing. Mike said, so far so good.

Alex w/Southland came on site around 11.

Moix discovered a steel beam missing that goes to the porte corche. It wasn't shipped from the fabricator because it was on backorder. It will be here in the morning.

Porter Brownlee came by the site today to look around and take pictures.

Some of the trusses are having to be engineer fixed in the field. NT Truss is supposed to fax it to us this evening or in the morning.

Brad with Advanced Sprinkler cut the line for the temporary power that runs to the building. Bailey will be here in the morning to fix it.
