Weather: Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 30s. No chance of rain.

I conducted out weekly safety meeting this morning with all trades present.

Jerime with Bailey is putting together the MDP in the mechanical room on the first floor.

Mike with Moses is in Little Rock watching over that job while they pour concrete.

NK Plastering is setting up scaffolding around the building. They’ll start with the foam tomorrow.

Southland’s framers are still working on the extended stay suites. They’re supposed to build part of the fur downs for the VTACs in the suites.

Nick Canant was over here to talk to John and Gary about pouring the north parking lot and the contract on the Searcy job.

Moses Mechanical is setting Ptac sleeves on the 3rd and 4th floor.

We cleaned all the loose material off of the north parking lot in preparation for Canant to pour concrete.

Bailey electric is running MC cable and setting boxes on the fourth floor. The owners want electrical outlets on either side of the middle steel beam in the meeting room for video projectors.

Moses Mechanical is setting Ptac sleeves and all plenums for Vtacs on the 4th floor and running duct for exhaust fans.

Moses Plumbing is doing their best to get their PVC run to the 4th floor. Mike is saying he’ll be ready for inspection on the 30th.

Tricon is putting pre rock in the meeting room and duct chases in the suites on the 4th floor.

NK Plastering is setting up scaffolding on the front and back of the building to get ready for EIFS

Canant Construction poured part of the sidewalk on the north side of the building. Jerime with Bailey and Todd with Advanced Sprinkler put sleeving under the sidewalk that enters the north side of the building.

Southland framers are working on the 4th floor extended stay suites. They are framing part of the duct chases for the suites. They built one of the walls at the top of the stair well. They need to take out a small wall on the 2nd floor at the north end of the corridor where the ice machine goes.

The owners and Alan and Joey met for about 5 hours.

City Inspector, Paul Young came by the site today with the state inspector, Tony Woodard. He is having us to add two more access panels in the 4th floor ceiling and 3 way, 4 way light switches to control attic lights. He needs us to make two exterior windows around the pool exhaust area, inoperable. Although he wasn’t entirely happy with some of the design issues, he approved everything that was looked at.

Magnum Materials delivered dry wall for the elevator shaft this morning. They’re storing 25 sheets per floor.

Canant Construction wrecked the forms on the sidewalk they poured yesterday and set more forms in the parking lot.

Southland framers are finishing sheathing and tyveking the exterior of the building. They’re wrapping up the framing in the rooms on the 4th floor and putting dead wood on the ceiling of the poor room for fur downs.

NK Plastering is having to redo scaffolding due to changes on the design of the exterior of the building. They started sticking foam on the back of the building.

Moses Mechanical is installing Ptac and Vtac sleeves and running duct for the bathroom exhaust.

Moses Plumbing is pushing everything through to the 4th floor.

Tricon is finishing pre rock in the duct chases and working on the elevator shaft.

Bailey is getting ready for the 4th floor inspection. They are running low voltage wire for the Ptac thermostats and pulling data and TV cable.

Southland framers are working on 4th floor punch out, building walls at the top of the stairwells and putting up soffet and fascia.

NK Plastering is sticking foam on the front and back of the building.

Freedom Fire is setting sprinkler heads and the heights of their main on the 2nd 3rd and 4th floors. They set the sprinkler heads on the 4th floor 4 different times because the ceiling height changed several different times that day. They were very frustrated.

Tricon drywall is pre rocking the chases in the suites and elevator shaft. They have all of the chases fire taped and ready for the air ducts.

Weather: Cold and cloudy. Highs in the low 30s. 70% chance of freezing rain or sleet.

Alan, Chase, Alex, John, and the owners met from 11 am till around 3:30 pm.

Magnum Materials is stocking dry wall in the 3rd and 4th floors.

Moses Plumbing is running PVC through the 4th floor. They’re running Freon lines for the condensing units.

Moses Mechanical is putting ducts together for the 4th floor suites.

Southland framing is putting in blocking in the stairwell and punch out items.

Tricon is rocking the elevator shaft and they’re taping right behind the hangers.

Weather: Cold and wet. Ice and freezing rain fell over night. Anything up off the ground is frozen. Highs in the low 30s. 100% chance of rain, freezing rain, and sleet.

Bailey is joining boxes together and preparing for inspection on the 30th.

Moses Mechanical is installing ducts for the suites.

Moses Plumbing is setting tub valves and getting ready to set tubs.

Several trades didn’t show up today due to the weather.

Ken Hacker, an OSHA consultant came to the site today to perform and consultation and walk through. It went really well.
